Dual Layer Belts
measuring example
Our belts are made from two strips of premium Hermann Oak leather that is glued together and border stitched. They are approximately 1/4" thick. Buckles are attached to the belt with Chicago screws so the buckle can be changed later if desired. I use solid brass buckles. Your choice of brass color or chrome plated. A quality dual layer gun belt offers greater stability and will support the weight of your handgun and other gear much better than a regular belt. For $10 extra we do offer an internal stiffener for our belts. In my opinion and in most cases the internal stiffener is not needed for a 1 1/2" wide belt but for those of you who carry a lot of gear and want the additional support or like a very stiff belt it is offered. 1 1/4" wide belts are usually fine without the stiffener as well unless you carry a very large handgun or carry in a high ride that is top heavy this may be an option to consider. For more information on the internal stiffener please check out the Disclaimer/FAQ page.
Prices start at $90.00.
If you would like a different width or length than offered please email for availability.
Make sure you follow the measuring instructions! Belts cannot be exchanged if you make a measurement error. I will make the belt to the measurement you specify. Please measure carefully. Email if you have questions. The easiest way to find your belt size is to measure a belt you currently wear. Lay it out on a flat surface and measure, to the nearest inch, from where the leather folds around the buckle to the hole that you most often use. This is your belt measurement. (If you plan to wear IWB, measure from the fold to the hole you use when wearing IWB gear.)
The measurement you give me will be the length from the fold to the center hole of your new belt.
